 COMMUNITY IMPACT

High Country United Way uses a Community Impact Model to effect change and allocate funding. Under this process, community leaders and field experts in the areas of health, education, and income stabilization are brought together to form Vision Councils.

Vision Councils work to assess the community need, develop priorities, and identify successful strategies. High Country United Way invests funding for community programs that align with the community priorities. High Country United Way also invests funding and resources to help establish new programs when required.

Together, with our donors and community partners, solutions are created. High Country United Way measures the progress of partner programs and continues to monitor the community need. This process ensures that the highest needs in our community are met first, and that the community investment is maximized to do the most good!
