Dear Community Partners,

High Country United Way is dedicated to the health and well being of all individuals in our community. We recognize that the uncertainties we are currently navigating place increased demand on local organizations and services. We also recognize that the impact of COVID-19 across our nation and community has the potential to alter organizational needs and priorities.

In light of recent developments, High Country United Way is announcing a temporary suspension of our annual grant competition. It is our hope that this decision allows you to more fully respond to the needs of your clients and the community and provides additional time for you to evaluate and prioritize requests in response to rapidly changing community conditions.

All previously submitted requests will be honored and applicants will also be given the opportunity to revise requests or submit additional requests once the competition is reopened.

High Country United Way is also in the process of establishing an emergency relief fund to assist partner organizations providing critical services during this time. We will commit 100% of all donations to the local efforts of partner agencies. Additional information will be provided as soon as it is available.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to our office should you have questions, concerns, or requests. Thank you for all that you do to improve lives on a regular basis and during these extraordinary times.
