Your local United Way delivers a return on investment – your donation creates change to get results. Your local United Way strengthens the nonprofit sector by ensuring quality services and helping people in need access the services that can help, and your local United Way creates sustained changes in conditions to improve lives and make our community a better place to live for all of us. A gift to United Way is the best way a single gift can help the most people in our community. Your options for giving are many!

You can also give through payroll deduction, with a check, or by credit card. The High Country United Way can accept a stock or securities gift too. To learn more call 828-265-2111.
Ways to Give in the Workplace
For Employees:
United Way partners with local and national employers to solicit employees for contributions to United Way. If your employer participates with United Way, talk to your CEO or Human Resources department and ask how to make a contribution. If your company does not participate with United Way, ask your CEO to consider an employee campaign. Consider a Fair Share Gift! (1% of salary if greater than $20,000, one hour's pay per month if less than $20,000)
For Employers:
Participation with United Way to make a real difference in our community can mean making a corporate gift, soliciting employees for contributions, or both. Consider asking top leadership to join the High Country United Way's Leadership Giving Program.
